During this class you will learn the basic use of a sewing machine including:

– parts, cleaning and maintenance
– threading
– introduction to fabric types
– sewing and finishing a simple project

We will provide:

• Class notes to take home
• Supplies to create a simple project
• Tea/ Coffee and biscuits

You will bring:

• Basic sewing supplies (scissors, quick unpick etc) – if you do not have these yet you can borrow from the Lair for the class
• Your sewing machine – if you do not have one you can borrow from the Lair for the class, please contact the Lair to discuss
• Closed in shoes
