HOMESCHOOLING COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS
Age: 5-17 (parents are requested to assist children under 10 years)
Cost: $90 per term pre paid or $10 per class book online as you go.

- Mastering machine speed
- Starting and stopping
- Securing threads
- Sewing straight lines
- Changing direction of sewing
- Sewing curves
- French seams
- Finishing seams (pinking shears, zig zag)
- Gathering
- Parts of the sewing machine
- Threading the sewing machine
- Cleaning the sewing machine
- Sewing terminology
- Reading sewing patterns and instructions
This class is designed for our local homeschooling communities. Projects will be progressive based on the age and ability of attendees.
Please wear closed in shoes and bring a water bottle and/or refreshments.

Classes and workshops must be booked online prior to attendance. The exception to this is the Charity Sewing Group and Knit and Natter Group.
Social and Charity meets are designed to help each other and work together. Mentors are available to assist you. However if you require one on one assistance please call 3155 3067 or email classes@thesewinglair.com.au prior to attendance so we can book in some time with an appropriately experienced mentor.
This depends entirely on your booking, all information will be provided in the class information.
We do not routinely offer refunds for classes however at our discretion we may offer you credit for another class at a future time. Cancellations must be received within 48 hours of your booked session. In extreme circumstances you can apply for a refund by emailing classes@thesewinglair.com.au and we will consider your request. Your booking can be carried over to another class as this is a series of events for each school term.
In this instance we will offer a class credit or refund (your choice) as we were unable to provide the service you purchased.
