Sometimes finishing a project is the hardest part!

In this class,  we’ll  go through  finishing  touches  like sewing buttons and  button holes, attaching press studs, and even some hand sewing techniques to make it look like something was never open in the first place.

What we will cover:

• Hand sewing buttons
• Machine and hand sewing button holes
• Creating velcro closures
• Sewing press studs
• Invisible hand sewing closures

What to bring:

• Optional: a project that needs some finishing touches from the list above
• Optional: if you have your own sewing equipment please feel free to bring it along  (e.g.: sewing machine, scissors, markers, pins)

What we provide:

• All the sewing equipment needed (sewing machines, threads etc.)
• Sample fabric and materials

General Information:

Difficulty level: Starter Skills

• This is an ideal class for beginners with no experience needed!
• We will teach you some sewing machine basics

Age: 12+

Please wear enclosed shoes.
